Believe in Your Own Dreams

As it may seem, no one should have to tell you to believe in yourself. But in a world of uncertainty and constant judgement, there are times when it is hard to believe in what you believe without someone’s approval. The fact of the matter is that no one will ever have a reason or a desire to naturally believe in what you want for yourself. Sure, you have family and close friends who would love to see you succeed and want the best for you but nobody has your back like you do.

Here are some tips I want to share with you to safeguard your dreams and take the leap of faith:

1.) Start small and grow in to your own

Don’t think you need to have all the pieces to the puzzle before you start. Start from where you can, learn and adapt along the way wherever you see fit. This is your dream, mold it as you wish.

2.) Safeguard your dreams

Don’t share your dreams with everyone. Some people are not prepared to support you and some people secretly don’t want you to succeed. Don’t give anyone the opportunity to block you before you get going.

3.) Indulge in Self-Talks

Even though it may sound silly and you might feel silly at first, talk your dreams in to reality. Take a few moments each morning and tell yourself who you are, what you want and what you’re going to do. This will go a long way toward building confidence in yourself.

4.) Be Consistent

Once you do start, keep going. If you’ve built a profile on social media, be consistent with when you post. If you’re blogging, be consistent about when you put out new content. For whatever you get into, once you get going, keep going.

5.) Subscribe to lists of Motivational Quotes

Sometimes we need a little encouragement. This step will help you to stay in a state of remembering what you’re trying to do. If you’re looking for a good one to follow join my podcast family HERE where I talk about business ideas, marketing and trucking to help entrepreneurs stay motivated.

6.) Create a vision board

Create a digital vision board, a poster or even a binder full of visual aids to keep you in the spirit of moving toward what you want for yourself. Be sure it’s somewhere you can see it or reference it regularly. Seeing is believing.

7.) Don’t forget to be true to yourself

Be authentic, it separates you from the rest because even if someone else is doing what you’re doing, no one else will do it like you.

To leave you with, I’ll share one of my favorite quotes that I’ve shared with my followers on Facebook: ‘Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.’ – Oscar Wilde

On that note, believe in yourself and get out there to show everyone what you’re made of. Please share if you have tips of your own.

Best to you, Shante ♥
